Help on Superchargers

I am going to order a charger for my e46 m3. My major hold up is the whine. I want it to be as silent and undetectable as possible. If possible even to a trained ear when hood is closed and car is not being wound up hard. Anything below 1/4 throttle and 3500 rpms I want to be stealth... Is this possible? With a vortech centrifugal is it more possible, I'm thinking about the stage 2 VF engineering as my main choice. please help. If it isn't undetectable, it isn't going to be an option for me, one I park next to my father, who hates that I live at home at 24 but drive a Dinan M3 everything short of a S/C... lol and may just make me move out. Other reason is, everyone at the track has seen me run...with my undrives, 4.10, intake, MAF, exhaust, SS stepped headers and Met. cats, so they CANNOT see this coming. lol

S/C is a great start consider the centrifugal for easier installation.

They all make noise... There is no silent supercharger...

Says the guy with the noisy Vortech...

If you are interested in a SC kit, there is going to be noise. To be honest, when I go to drop a bunch of cash in a SC kit in a few years, I want everyone to know I just spent 10k or so making my car as badass as it can be. It lets everyone know not to mess with it.
With that being said, I fully intend on buy a 02 or 03 M3 after paying my VW off. I will be looking at the AA stg 2 kit.

I'm saving up for an e46 too, but I plan on later saving up for the HPF (HorsepowerFreaks.com Performance Parts Aftermarket and Racing) stage 2 turbo kit

depending on the boost you want to run on the s/c size depends on the noise, running a 100 bhp s/c like the mclaren makes alot, however the other way if you are looking for power only when you want it is to wun a electronic clutch puley so you can turn it on and off,!!
