This is the saga of my 89 535i. This is the 1st brand new car I ever bought in 1989 and will ever buy. Although it was not my 1st BMW. The following pages list/show the turbo project as it continues!As many of you know her as BIG RED!

Assembling the block one step at a time is so relaxing,

Getting the Bearings in and all assembly lubed up in and outside.....



here the pistons are all in and ready...




checking the front timing chain cover for proper seal clearance and fit.



Putting on the oil pan and other little things....




Like the head and cam tray.....




Checking Timing the old fashioned way...lol




All buttoned up and waiting for the next phase....




Nissan Aint the only one with a RED TOP!!!:buttrock

Time for a dress rehersal.....to see how the E34 manifold and the old faithful snail will fit.....Prepped and poised waiting in the operating room....





In the words of the famous Ace Ventura.."LIKE A GLOVE"...



Now the jigging and fabbing can start......looks like it will work...:evil2

This will be an ongoing thing to see where the gains will be. But I expect anywhere from 800 on up to the wheels depending on the turbos I use..
