I went this route as I have a charge cooler core directly before the throttles. This is the only way you can guarantee that each cylinder is getting an equal amount of water/meth or straight meth if that is what you choose to do.
If I had it setup before the core it could puddle inside the intake or only a few cylinders would get it.
If you are going through a single TB, this becomes less of an issue, but there will always be benefit by going with this configuration as there is no question of what is going where.
