| I'm surprised the AA kits haven't come down since all the new players on the market....their kit costs more and makes less power. The only thing right now about TCD and TRM is they don't have tuning for OBD-II. Technique Tuning still the way to go though....

I don't think I'll ever go standalone because I don't ever plan on running race gas, which seems to be the main reason for going standalone (multiple maps.)

| Maniac, there are more advantages than that with a stand alone. Removing the MAS, awesome datalogging capablities, and many more tuning parameters than a normal DME.

| Yes, the chips are awesome, but not near anything of a standalone. There are tuners of standalones that unlock up to 80 dynohp (saw it on Evos anyway) just on a better tune, going from some of the best reflashed chips on the market. Datalogging, as I mentioned is one of the most important things. Removing many restrictions, and being able to tune all parameters, and get rid of the retarded computer from the factory is nice. You can run antilag, NLTS features, and all kinds of other goodies. Buy quality the first time, Not the second.

| I have not read any reviews on TCDs products but I can tell you this, the guys that make up TCD are real guys like us and true enthusiasts. They spent about 45 minuts on the phone with me telling me about the different turbo set ups the advantages and disadvantages of the different setups and what I would need and how it all works, Tips on installation, all the opions and lots of other good info. And the whole time they never tried to push as sale. Just two guys talking about the love for thier e34s That tells allot about the products that they would sell. I have decided to go with a compressor but if turbo is your thing, TCD can give you some great info!
