E30 Turbo - AFM help? Hey all,
Coming to the later stages of my turbo project and im faced with a huge problem. The AFM.
The M20 AFM from memory has about a 2'' pipe? (feel free to correct me) and is fairly restrictive on the whole 'boost' thing..
Now i have heard everything from modified M30 AFM's to converting to a MAF from a newer BMW or even the MAF off a 300zx.
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some clear suggestions or even hear from people who have overcome this problem and how they did it?
eg. changing plugs to suit a MAF etc?
I am currently running a 323i bottom end thats been stroked to 2.5lt, a race head with oversized valves, T-04 Turbo, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, an Apexi SAFC and a few other goodies...
