| Has anyone ever heard or done this conversion i watched a video of it on U-tube an actual installation of the system on a car. It sounds awesome the whole concept of it and it's priced really well too. Any info from anyone or opinions would be greatly appreciated. P.s the video was from some US show called horse power whether thats a real program and ont something from the turbo manufacturer remains to be seen cause i ain't from the us and can't vouch for the show. Thanks. |

| If that video i saw was truely a non affiliated company. Then pressure drop is 1psi and they reckon after driving it at the end which, i found quite funny cause you should see the way they get shoved back in the seat cause of the acceleration, they couldn't detect anymore lag than a standard setup. Please have a look at the video on u-tube it has definately made me think long and hard. |

| I have seen this system installed on a Vette on Hotrod TV. It does seem like a awesome setup. What are you planning to put it on?

| unsure now I've said before about wanting to shove a v8 into an e24 or e28 but now looking at that system it might be wiser just to go for say a e34/39 or an e38 one that already comes with a v8 in it? What kind of pressure can the standard pistons, rods etc handle? What would be the best way to lower compression? Do you know of a price for a full set of pistons and rods? Thanks. |

| 1) There is no set pressure for any motor that it can handle. It can be dictated by turbo size, compression and such. It really depends on how big the turbo is. For example, 10psi from a E3-16g is going to be big difference from 10psi on a GT30R. I will be honest, I have little to no knowledge of BMW V8 engines. 2) The best way to lower compression is with a set of lower compression pistons. You can use a thicker head gasket as well. 3) I am not sure how much the pistons and rods are. 4) As for how much power the motor can hold, it depends on lots of things. A good tune is very important. With a good tune, and a properly sized turbo, it should hold a good amount.
