Looking for a part number specific to your car? Hmm, not sure. I know they make a uni kit. Anyhow, how many LPH you need? I would guess a 255H.P. with a setup like that.

I have never heard of a failing Walbro personally. I ran a Walbro 255HP in my TSi awd and never had any problems. However they are quite noisy. This is the DSM pump of choice, and we have good luck with them.

I've just ordered a replacement....I might as well just keep ordering parts to see if something will rectify my issue. I can't find a vac leak anywhere.

However, when searching all over the internet about "lean on boost" many of the people experiencing this problem have one thing in common.....all use the walbro fuel pump...coincidence?

Also, look at many people running 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s on the track, and road race cars. They all run walbros. Trust me when I tell you, there are cars out there with more money and power than we could ever see on a normal income, that run walbros without any trouble. I would look around. Lean conditions can be the product of many things.

To see if your walbro pump is at fault, just put a fuel pressure gauge on your fuel rail to see if the pressure is rises and holds with boot. It should be a linier ratio to boost and not fall off at the top end.

I'm not saying the product sucks, but I do notice that walbro fuel pump failure is relatively common....just food for thought.

You can't always take what you read on the internet at just face value either, though. Think about it, do you think everyone who sets up a turbo system does it correctly? Hell no! When I first bought my car, all it had aftermarket on it was the 20g turbo, fmic, injectors, rims, and guages! No fuel pump, no tune, no motormounts, stock clutch, etc. You may be reading stories of people buying the pump, but not the injectors, or buying both, but with no tune, or they "street tuned" it themselves. Or maybe they're running such high-end setups that they need a fuel pressure regulator, or a stand-alone system...my point is, you never really know, especially in the ricer world, this kind of stuff is done wrong all of the time.

Or maybe they're running an lp walbro when they should be running an hp? Who knows?
