I am a ex WRX driver and have found that the kits for Bimmers cost more. I know a guy that runs an Active Autowerke Turbo kit and he likes it, but that kit will run around 8 or so. I also am a fan of turbo power. Sounds like you have a sweet car, i to run a 95 M3 and i love it.

well i have an AA supercharger and i drift and street race it! and, i smoke bikes so... whatever, people are talking about turbo, i guess is cool, if you want that sound (psssshhhhhhhttt) but the supercharger gives a winding sound when its idled and driven and a with a blow off V. on a super charger its hella is sick...

turbos are better! but, on bmw's... their harder to work with in less you have a lot of money for a stand-alone or a piggy back. thats why you see most bmw's with superchargers, because supercharger just use energy from the car to aspire power; which all you need is a chip and to get a flash done... therefore no need for an expensive computer mapping system, even though being able to control your car with a computer is nice lol :/ codes on bmw's are too complex!!!!!!!!!!!! i might be wrong on some stuff, but for the most part, yeah.

I feel that we should make this thread a sticky, It is a question that is often posed to the DTM comunity. This thread is defianetly something that comes up often. I truly feel it is really up to the car owner. Depending on what power level you want to achieve as well as the application you are using it for IE: The track/autocross, The Street, or the drag strip.
