| ebay parts... ok guys just wonderin if anyone has anything to say about this manifold... Bmw E36 323I 325I 328I 92-98 M3 3L 3.2L Turbo Manifold - eBay Other Turbo Parts, Turbo Parts, Turbo, Performance Parts, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 26-Jan-08 18:44:46 AEDST) please dont immediatly say its shit coz its on ebay and its mass produced in china ect... basically if i get it i can run a t3/4 setup and start off with a good intercooler and piping then save up and buy a good oil cooler and engine parts then i go for a larger turbo and get a manifold made locally by someone i know is a proffessional.. dont expect me to start this journey TOO soon because i gotta buy my pss9's and bodykit ect... oh and yeah ill get a really good cat converter and catback exhaust... know someone who can make a good setup and bend intercooler pipe for me... ALSO will this setup require a large amount of tuning? im hoping to stay on factory ecu and low boost and upgrade later when it comes time for bigger turbo... as you can see its gonna be one of those evolving cars so no 'just bu a big turbo straigh up' comments either. thankyou. all constructive criticism welcome

| oh and yeah i know theres been alot of t3/4 bmw's with info on this forum but my main question is about the manifold... just found out they are sellin the turbos on ebay too for $300 :S might get it off someone who might give me a good warranty or somethin.

| there are a few guys that have lightly modded/repaired/reinforced these manifolds to keep them from cracking. Other than that... |

| Milkt- Are you thinking of SSautocrap/XSpower? This manifold has actualy had some good results. The welds are nice on it, and is actualy constructed with good materials. I have seen some people running this, with great results. I will be honest, I will be using it on my setup until I make my own. I see not a damn thing wrong with it.

| i was up for sayin its all a spur of the moment thing and that im gonna wait till i can afford to get it all done properly but if your sayin that they are good enough for atleats a temporary thing then hey it sounds good enough for me. i wouldnt be able to afford to run a car with anything bigger than a t4 anyway and id get a good tune so the internals should be fine on the lower boost spectrum. whereas those turbos they have on ebay... can only imagine pickin the blades out of the intercooler or ringin the ambos after some kid gets turbo vanes in the face.

| Yea, the ebay t3/t4s suck ass. There are some cases where the cases are glued together. BUT, I will admit, I had a XSpower 16g as my first turbo on my TSi AWD and it held together well. I beat it constantly, and hardly turbo timed it, and it never gave me trouble. But, I wouldnt buy the t3/t4. I would just get a nice Garrett, PTE, turbonetics.....

| The old XS power, when it WAS owned by SS. Now XS is owned by OBX which actualy makes decent stuff. A great ebay grassroots company that snowballed was megan racing. Now they make some very great parts, and have huge multimillion dollar sponserships.
