Thats exactly what I did. My 325E has 176k miles and I put a turbo on in without doing any internals and its running great. It also only cost me about $900

Oh wow thats awesome man! Do i HAVE to do anything else aftermarket like fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or timing? Oh and do you think it would be a good idea to change the timing belt and water pump while I'm at it?

My timing belt was done not too long ago so I didnt, but its very easy to while youre in there. I have 12:1 FMU and 24lb injectors, then I just fiddled with the AFM for a while to get it running good. Where are you located?

they will get the job done for a daily driver that you want to have fun in i have bought the demon kit off ebay just to try it out and i must say on my e30 the lil thing packs a punch and it is pretty reliable, just reinforce the manifold welds and get good oil lines/piping couplers

in january i am turboing my car this is not a question merely a statement. FYI my car is an e34 with a built 2.7 stroker under the hood i am making 7.0:1 compression any questions my build is in the link on my signature. i am buying all of the following items and have prices for all of them but i want to know if anyone has used the ebay turbo manifolds or if any of you can make one (i don't have a pipe bender and the shop won't let me use theirs) oh and i am lazy in reguards to building one. so my budget for one is $200 any one got some advice?

apexi select this is basically an apexi afc-II but for european models
turbo ar .70
tial wastgate
greddy intercooler
intercooler piping kit
miller performance map conversion
wideband 02 setup
blowoff valve
stainless steel oil line kit
boost controller w/ gauge greddy
oil cooler
oil pressure sensor w/ gauge
oil catch can greddy
oil return fitting
pillar pod gauge console
walbro 255
if necessary a t3-t4 adapter
oil sandwich plate i won't be doing a whole lot of drill and tapping thanks to this guy
slimline electric fans - the fan clutch is being deleted in lue of intercooler and slim fans
aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
and lastly fuel injectors from a mustang gt - these are 34lb and should be sufficent for - for now
