Another question on my brain, What is the advantage of using like 3inch charge piping over like 2.5?

Depends on your setup. For my car, 3 inch cold piping is a waste. I got better response going down to 2.75 piping, because my throttle body is about 2.75, filling a larger pipe with air was wasting energy. My hot side piping is about the same diameter (tad larger) as the outlet of my turbos. Anything bigger was a waste of money and space on my car.

Bad part is when I upgrade my setup, I'll have to make all new piping to match that.
