Before Forced Induction

i would like to get a supercharger in the near future. right now my engine is completely stock. is there somethings i should do or take into consideration before adding a super charger? how much power can the M50 (if i am correct about engine) take?

well it all depends on if you are going to do it the right way or not i mean rrfpr arent that bad but please get a tune it will be so much nicer so much more response, so youll have to look into nice injectors but it all depends on how much boost you want. give us an idea of what kind of power you want.

i would like around 300-350 hp. and decent torque...

im not a 325 guy but i know there is plenty of kits out there 300 isnt a stretch you should be fine most stock stuff the only thing would be if its a very high mileage engine maybe check compression but i would get some nice rc injectors or if they include them and get a tune or if they include a chip in the box , but the best way would be to dyno tune even though its the same engine different places have different environments, so you benefit a little more.

thanks i live in south florida and Active Autowerk is close. they have some nice things to get my 325is to a nice hp level. i will seriously get my engine checked for compression and anything else because most likely it has high mileage. thnks for the info anyone else wana add some input

You also have Technique Tuning around your neck of the woods. I'd see what both places have to offer and do the cost/performance ratio

your torque is higher than your hp^^^. many e36 bimmers i seen have low tourqe compare to hp. how can you increase torque??? ^^^

dont go that route. for the money go with TRM or TT kits. both are cheaper and put down more power. add a couple hundred bucks to your build, like a HG and APR studs, you could be around 400whp if you want.
