| Just CRUSHED the neighbors STI Just a little update on the 335i Twin Turbo Rocket..... One of my neighbors has a nice black WRX STI (the car is sick).... talked to him a few times about going to the local track and running our cars.... never got around to it. Today I found myself behind him as we turned onto a very straight very long road just outside our neighborhood and pulled him over...... Long story short.... I beat him 3 of 3..... standing start, rolling at 10mph and standing start giving him the move... I'm not stupid, the guy obviously can't drive his car very well because everybody tells me that the STI should be faster than mine???..... but again the 335i is just sick fast and I would like to race one with a good driver. What do you think?

| stock for stock yours would win as far as i know... umm yeah id take the 335i anyday no matter what... you should put an exhaust on it... jus custom fab would be the best and cheapest. You'd be amazed at how much HP that would give you on a turbo car!

| I wish I could afford to do some mods.... Just no extra $$ right now..... But I am saving my pennies for software first then an exhaust.

| Should beat the suby every time. Are you having any high/overheat conditions? Was reading 335's are really suceptable to gettin way hot(this months car and driver I think it was) |

| You should smoke the sti every time. I beat one at the track with my stock 350z. Not by much, it could have been operator error.

| lol i just go home after goin for a drive... smoked the fuck outa some kid in his falcon with 20" chome wheels and FPV stickers plastered all over his car!!! lol sein as i havent even upgraded my exhaust yet he thought he might have a chance... i could see his car in my rearview just after i crossed the intersection...

| I'd bet good money that the STi drivers didn't know what they were doing... Drop the clutch ~6000 rpm and those damn cars will take off like stink. Until they snap an axle... They are very very fast up to 75mph; pretty damn fast up to ~110mph and you should have NO trouble pulling on them from 120 up to 155mph because their gearing is silly low... Not sure how stupid you guys were being on the streets; but chances are - the subby wasn't showing all it had.

| I'm learning how to launch my car without the traction control and it's leaving the line sick.... Before it was toooo much RPM (trying to build boost), and the rear tires would go up in smoke..... but i've learned that the boost kicks in at only 1300-1400 rpm as-well-as all that sick torque so i'm leaving at around 2500 rpm and the car hooks sick.... I can almost get the jump on my neighbors STI and then it's not even a close race.... NONDESCRIPT... This is all at the track now.
