Thumbs up Thank you Ulysses White(Card Counter)! ......+ update

I wanted to give a big thank you to Ulysses! :wave

You have paved the way for the rest of us Americans. You go out to the strip time and time again, breaking a new part each time or the same part as before each time. You have been finding the weak links in the e36, helping the rest of us so much with R&D. Not only that, but you have also helped us in acquiring stronger replacement parts for those said weak links. I had to give a shout out for that!

I also have a little update. Since it may have seemed my car was complete for Bimmerfest. I know that I jokingly hassle a lot of you for pics and especially videos since we all love to see them, so where the hell are mine?

This sig pic isn't actually new, just looks it. It was taken right before the car was being towed back to SFR with no engine, intercooler, etc. Jon Sibal is my bro and he did this artist rendition adding the black intercooler, piping, smoked corners(still thinking of going this route) and cleaned the car up some (he’s wicked talented).

The car has been back at SFR since Bimmerfest. There have been some changes. We completely remade the intake manifold for better functionality. Since I will be racing the car eventually I want her to work flawlessly.

Some other little things needed to be buttoned up also. The car wasn't 100% at Bimmerfest. Little things like routing the wastegate back into the exhaust, finishing the last 3 feet of exhaust, adding to the charge pipe from IC - TB, mounting the AEM UEGO gauge with a custom pod on top of the steering column and so-forth.

I had my ugly alternator sent out to be taken apart, polished and reassembled. Well there was serious lagging getting it to the polisher and now the company reassembling it needed a replacement part to make sure it would work perfect in order to warrant it for 2 years. So the dumb alternator has held us up for a week. She will be back in and hopefully the car will be street tuned in a few days. Then I will break in the motor with a 5psi spring. After that we will change the spring, dyno her and I will have the 1000hp drive shaft and 1000hp half axles I got from UPS today installed.

Then I will do a photoshoot and video shoot! Collaborate everything together, edit, then finally I will post the thread.

I have lots of ideas for cool funny short films and there will also be videos of the car with no music or funny business so you can hear everything.

You will not be disappointed!

Here are some pics I just took a few minutes ago of some new goodies I got today. Thanks to Ulysses I don’t have to worry about these weak links any more!

If anyone thought this car would be a show car or a dyno queen...FYI...I am going to beat the crap out of her just so you know.

Oh and just for the guys that were all worried about my sad black oil cap. I got a shiny new one from Active Autowerke just for you.
