The "Alabama M3" (v. ICS)

I swung by ICS again today since I wanted to check out some more stuff and hang out there. Snapped some pics of the "Alabama Car"

Aside from the engine build, this M3 is standing on a set of PSS9's with Stoptech (as usual) 332mm Big Brakes and UUC Rear Adj. Arms.

alabama here...the car had a stage 2 AA setup when I bought it. After 50K miles, the gasket and head went poof. I wanted more power so I researched for a couple of months, and my car made its way to ICS. What I found there has exceeded my expectations of a performance shop. George and the guys there are great...straight up. Returned last night from a 2 day stay in Stamford. Let me say that I now have respect not only for the ridiculous ride, but for George as dedicated builder and a person. Just so you know from a 60 mph roll in 4th gear I floored it...as the car quickly approached 80 mph the rear tires broke loose! He said the turbo's "just yawning" Alabama's never going to be the same!

frankly it scared the crap out of me! it was set at 18 when i drove it. george said he would set several lower tunes for the car, but also one for 20. I think there were several factors contributing: the engine was purpose built to be very free flowing, the borrowed 7 1/2" rear tires were avon, it was chilly (in the 30's) plus the turbo is good for 850 whp with a different fuel pump. i will say that just about anywhere in 3rd gear would spin violently if i put it to the carpet. hopefully with 18 x 9 in the rear and a little right foot control, it's going to be more fun than i can stand!

Thanks for the compliments on the pics guys, and yeah the car is beautiful.

After I pick up an E36M I'll pick up a DSLR and bring even sexier clear pictures.
