Bought a new shop car

I bought a new shop car last week. It has a few mods, but FI will be coming in the future.

Here's what is currently has:
-Euro floating rotors
-H&R sport springs
-Bilstein shocks
-Eibach swaybars
-BMW OEM Cross Brace
-UUC EVO3 SSK w/DSSR
-UUC clutch stop
-UUC lightweight flywheel
-Steel-braided brake lines
-HKS Cold Air Intake
-Euro Corona light ring headlamps
-Euro clear tails, sides, and corners
-Stealth black kidney grills
-Chrome Double Spokes
-Business in-dash CD Player
-Factory CD Changer
-3 Spoke steering wheel with CF inserts

It also had receipts for all repairs and upgrades dating back to 2000.

My first mod to the car was to remove the ASC.

I didn't want that light to be on the cluster all the time, so we pulled the cluster and removed the ASC bulb. No ASC, and no ASC light.

And here's a picture of when I pulled it into the shop to get it up on a lift. It looks pretty good underneath also.

Future plans for this car are:
EMS T67 Turbo kit
EMS HG to lower compression
UUC Cerametallic Clutch with Stage 2 LTW Flywheel
UUC rear control arms
UUC Strut Barbarian
Wheels (not sure which yet)

VERY cool, Kurt. So this car is going to take a different approach to a t67 than your sedan? (I assume so, as otherwise it would be redunadant)

Im looking forward to the build-up!

Yeah, this isn't going to be a fully built car like mine. This is the test bed for our EMS Turbo kit. My car is too far beyond stock to use. This car still has all the emissions equipment, and will be using the stock DME instead of a stand alone. We may keep the compression stock, but at the most we will only going with a thicker HG. No other engine mods. Goal will be 500 RWHP on 91 octane pump gas. I may have to change the suspension too though, after being used to my Teins I can really tell the difference.

We won't be doing anything major to it until May though. We have other priorities until then. But after BimmerFest, the updates will come quick.

Very cool. I remember you having said NickG would be doing your tuning awhile ago...thats definitely going to be a big selling point for your kit!

Good to hear there are more and more complete kits coming to the market...I am definitely looking forward to the unveiling of your kits and this car in particular.

I like the sound of 500rwhp w/o a built motor, stock ECU, and perhaps 91 or 93 octane!

Looking good so far Kurt! Love the pic of your shop! You have a nice base M3 there to do a sick 500whp pump gas on stock ECU with stock motor turbo system. Once done that is going to be the one everyone will be eyeballing. What AA should have done years ago but...well, good for you anyway.

Nice taking out the ASC + light!

Thanks Cameron. It's still weird for me, I own a shop, heh. Although I've always wanted one, I didn't expect that it would happen so soon.

awesome, looks like a great test bed.

What manifold are you using? A cast piece or is it made in house?
