Holset users...

Are there any Holset users on the board? If so how to you like it? I'm going to be running a Holset HX35w on my 95 M3. Will lag be much of an issue with the S50B30? or even the 32's? Either way I'm hoping this turbo will deliver, I have Autronic Standalone to partner up with it.

Get a GT40/40r. they run 1500-2000g, but they are dual ball bearing and a much better turbo. you really don't want the holset b/c they lag a lot....and you will have a diesel turbo on your car

I heard alot of good things about them though. But I would much rather have the ballbearing turbo. How much could I sell a Holset Hx35w for?

holset are good. they don't lag if you don't go super big. Even still, they're an excellent value for the dollar. RX7's runnnig 9's on holsets, good enough for me

2JZ on Holset HX55 in a Isuzu truck running a 9.5
