I've heard of it discussed here before...pretty much anything is possible with enough money

2JZ is a little overrated IMHO.

I guess I like being the underdog...with a less known motor/lower HP, and put a whooping on someone.

Funny how I drive a mustang huh? haha

The 2J is one of the best factory motors you can get, but I don't really understand why you would want to drop a great I6 into a car that already has a great I6 in it. In my opinion there isn't much of a wow factor to it (not like an RX-7 with a 2J, or an S2K) in the sense of puting relativly the same motor in their. Unless your thinking of trying to get more power for less money, although after the price of getting the motor, doing the swap, and performance parts, the amount would probably come out to be the same. Now don't get me wrong I'm not downing your project of interest, I'm all for people doing things "out side of the box". Good luck!

I've seen a 318 with an F20 (S2000 motor) in it...

If your going to swap an engine, swap a REAL engine, not that overhyped crap: LSx series.

it could be done but if you have all the bmw parts its not worth it. the s52 can hold well over 1000rwhp if done right so why go and get a bunch of new parts just build the bimmer up and it would be cheaper
