Question Boosting 3.0 M3 or 2.8?

I currently have turbocharged 3.0 but needs to be rebuit, new oil pump etc so i might buy a 2.8 because i here they except high boost better than 3.0 is this true or just here say because i plan to go all out this time (25psi+).

You 'hear'd right. The 2.8L blocks are supposed to be better for forced induction. For 25 lbs you will need a built motor and some luck. What size turbo were you planning on running and what is your target power?

Well I know Cardcounter pushed over 600whp on his 2.8 with stock internals and upgraded head gasket and studs but i plan i getting titanuim valves and springs, pistons, rods all that good stuff. i am probably going to run a t4 60-1 or 62-1 hi fi but i am still looking around . I want to get somewhere over 600whp. I want to do most of the work myself but I dont really know how to weld. So custom mounting brackets for an intercooler and down pipe and all that I might try to buy from ICS prefabbed i hope. Im going to have to win the lottery for this build or rob a bank lol. But any how i can get a 2.8 for about $1500 so i guess that is where i will start. Does anyone know where i can get money for my 3.0 m block? ( Bad oil pump, Bad rings, needs head work).

According to EC Dec. 2006, "The wall thickness over the 3.2L should work in his favor, keeping the head gasket cooler in between cylinders and giving the engine the capability of extracting plenty of power safely." Just ask CardCounter, the article is about his car. I also think Cameron started with a M50 non-vanos unit.

I'm in the process of a rebuilt and just purchased a s50 2.0l block for my build. I'm using the s50 crank, eagle robs, CP 8.5:1 pistons. I rode in a guys car last night w/ this same setup (stock rods) w/ a t67 turbo (?) I drove at 15psi and in 4th gear on the highway could break traction.

More potential in the 3.0 as there is more displacement. My two cents.

Too much what? Too much turbo for driveability on the street? I would say so. Unless you have driven a GT35r equipped car and felt that it was relatively tame, then I think you will be more than happy with that turbo. Some 328s and M3s are putting down well over 500 rwhp with that turbo.
