DA-Motorsport Kit

What does everyone think of the DA-Motorsport "520hp M3 Turbo R kit"? I am trying to decide between this kit and the Technique Tunning Stage 2 kit. I am most looking for a quick spooling setup because I will mostly be doing road racing.

Go with technique tuning. DA has been notorious for not producign dyno graphs and on top of that the kit you posted is for the s50b32 euro motor.

Technique Tuning is one of the best around. Great tuning and proven to be strong.

If i had the euro motor i would go with da. It has been an in going thing about them not having dyno charts for their 1000hp kit and what not but if you look at the design of the kit and what is included with it you can see that the M3 turbo R had a lot of thought put into its design. But unless you want to spend the money on a complete Euro engine then it is not worth it.

That's totally wrong. If you look at the kit you can see its shithouse.

Well the technique tuning kit isnt all that great either I am not a fan of purchasing any turbo kit I believe in custom making it to what you would like to get out of the car. Really if you dont have any form of ems i think its hack. I would like for you to point out what you think is (shit house) about the kit in comparison to the other that he has in mind.

DA's exhaust manifold is crappy IMO and Turbosmart makes crappy parts.

TT doesn't show pictures of their products, so I can't comment.

In short: Tubular manifold>Log manifold, Cast manifold>welded manifold, so Find a cast "tubular" manifold and your set for a kick ass setup....or a welded tubular with string support brackets to prevent cracks.

Where could you find a cast turbular manifold because if it is in production I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one.

Had one of their BOV's, about the same quality as the Turbo XS unit My buddy had, it stuck half open on me. Went with a stock EVO BOV until I can get an HKS SSQV on there.

Whether or not their wastegates are any good, I don't know, but if it was my car I'd spring (no pun intended) for Tial units. It's just me, but if a wastegate stuck closed on me I'd be not too happy while I'm picking up pieces of rods off the road.

Thanks for the explanation. I have heard great things about Tial as well, but only have personal experiences with TurboSmart.
