What model E30 do you have???? 325i??? because if so i believe they're only 2.5 or 2.6liter from what i believe..Now when it comes to boosting your e30 motor i strongly suggest to do a heck of a lot of research but if you want give me your e-mail or something or e-mail me @ Kevin_Abalos83@hotmail.com & i'll jot down the best boosting info for a e30 3 series motor....But if you're running anywhere over T28, T04h, sc61, GT30r, i strongly suggest you spend a huge amount of time investing on building your block first but even though still the E30 3 series motors just isn't a really easy motor to work on especially when it comes to boosting..It's small, old, and tough, and parts hard to find on them...Honestly if i were you is invest & go buy a blown m52 E36 328i motor, yes i mean a blown one because you can buy blown m52 motors from germany for fucking hella cheap & just spend additional $1,500 to have it shipped to america.

Reason why i say buy a blown m52 motor is why waste your money buying a ready to go m52 motor when you're gonna build it anywhere to where the amount of money you'll spend building a e30 motor you can spend building a blown M52 motor, sounds stupid but i guarantee you it'll be worth doing on the long run especially if you wanna build a real project cars...If you go check on bimmerforums.com or cardomain.com there is a heck of a lot of guys on there that are doing m52 328i motors & s52 m3 motor swaps into there E30 shells because of the lightweight of those cars + the capability that it can put out after putting time/effort into it..

If you use the 524 td crank and forged (low CR) pistons in a 2.7 eta block or bore the 325i block out to 2.8 like mine, cant you boost the crap out of it with no problems?

I thought I have read about more than one member doing this with mega squirt and a pro turbo style equal length manifold...

I have also heard of building the stoker m20 with the s50 crank and s50 rods, and then turboing this...for a great performing engine....

You dont need a 524 td crank, they are 3.5 more pounds than an ETA crank. deisels rattle and vibrate throughout their lives and the crankshafts take a beating. Eta cranks are plentiful and cheap you can verify this with Metric Mechanic if you dont believe me.

either build an engine as a side project or boost the engine you have in your car, a lot more info is available on E30tech.com about turboing the e30.

Also let me ask you this? THen i'll start getting really serious on helping you if you got the money for all this...BUt first let me tell you this, whats your goals on this engine first of all, what do you look to get out of it, and what are you trying to prove? Because what im trying to figure out is it your building just a decent stage 2 reliable turbo e30 or going for a full race engine...My AIM & MSN is listed on top so feel free to IM me if you want, i'm always on pretty much because i dont go out as much as i used to until my ex. girlfriend died after 6 long years.

but like he said what are your goals and what is your budget, I'd like 300-500hp but its just not going to happen for me on $200, but that doesnt stop me dreaming.

Equal lenght of exaust heders(stanlees steel),hi flow cats, must be, turbo recomendation, something whit Barden corporation ceramic ball bearings, internal WG. 400bhp, external WG 400+bhp, intercooler BIGG, oil cooler, block cementation, customized chipsetup, forged piston kit(and the stuff whit it), biger oli and water pump, indicators, depending off your financial abilities, and your whises, all is posible, iff u have the tools u can make some good sh..t!

Warning look around, and ask qestions about exaust setup, and the ways that is buillded, because its wery, i repeat WERY important how u doo that right, iff u screw up it whill make u problems.
Look for pipe optimum dimensioning diameter and lenght, and curvature becouse off the contra presures...
BLABLABLA...
For 500bhp, u need minimum 5-6k, to do it right

P.S.
Whit the upgrade off the turbo system comes the reasonable upgrade of brakes and suspension, maybe rollcage, safety first my children!!!

Thanks, but if you want 300-500hp but im not sure what you drive....Just a blown m52 or s50 motor at least then build it from bottom up basically from scratch...I'll take shit load of work but it can be done don't get me wrong...But for the price you'll probably spend trying to build a e30 motor to that kind of numbers it would be just as much if not cheaper as buying a blown m52 or s50 motor or even s52 motor & boosting it & building it i 100% assure you on that.
