The E36 M3's are fun as hell NA, i can't imagine the power of a turbo. You should get used to rwd if your not already or your gonna be spinning tire all over the place. With toyo proxes 4 tires on my NA M3 i can still drift it if i want to, just be careful

Im putting my own kit together with random parts, im slowly collecting the right parts instead of going with a kit that way I know i have the best of the best for each individual part...

AA isn't bad for mild F.I. but anything crazy I wouldn't trust them with. Go with the company that Dado use's, atleast you know they work

He had AA, but that didn't work out. He's the reason I don't buy from AA.

Yeah, AA seems to be really over-priced. I would suggest piecing together your own setup.

Dado doesn't use AA anymore cause he had problems with them. I'm looking to turbo my M also and I would like some help as well. Dangerranger21 how is that custom kit you're working on coming along? I'd like to know what you're going to use for engine management, turbo manifold, intercooler, and any upgrades to the engine for safety. Thanks

This is going to start a big pissing war most likely, and I cannot stress how many times I have said this, but I will do it again to help inform you.
Being a DSM owner, and owning MANY turbo cars, I am quite knowledgeable to the subject.
The turbokits kit, is actualy very good. Whenever you put a turbokit on your car, it is always upgradeable, its not permanent. The only thing I would do when ordering the kit is:
Tell them to keep their fuel management, which saves 400. The FMU (AFPR) is a shitty management system. APEXI-AFC2 is quite a proven system, and will do a good baseline tune. The included turbo is not that big, so 10psi is no problem. For example, 10psi from a t28 is not near as much air as 5 psi from a gt35r. The included FMIC is a good core, and has been tested alot. Pressure drop is actualy quite low. The fuel system upgrade for 995 is well worth it, go for it. Get a bigger exhaust also, I run a catless testpipe. To assist in spoolup, get the turbo an manifold ported before installation. Much more unlocked power there. Also, with the correct fuel support (in 995 upgrade kit) I would feel confident at 15psi, no problem. On 93 octane only though.
Now this is a must:
Take the car to a shop with a dyno, road tuning is not enough. Log the car, injector duty cycle, knock counts and such. Have the car tuned with your AFC2, get a good basemap going. I can link up a tune right now gaining 40whp off just an AFC2 tune!!!! I can also link up a 120whp gain using an AEM EMS on a EVO. A good tune will:
Make the car reliable, you know whats going on
(obviously you will have a boost gauge)
Unlock all possible horsepower
And make sure nothing gets fucked up.
Now, do make sure you have a boost gauge. If you plan on running that turbo at high boost, have the flapper door enlarged to prevent boost creep. Boost creep is a condition which your preset boost (ie 12psi) gets overpasses by air, spiking to lets say 20. NOT GOOD. I would enlarge the flapper door for sure. When you go to a 3" exhaust, and a bigger turbo, run an external gate. On larger turbos, boost creep is almost un-aviodable unless an external gate is used.
That is just basics even.....

All this sounds great but you cant run more than about 4lbs on top of the factory timing.
