i was lookin at turbos for a 1995 bmw m3 e36 and i found one at www.activeautowerke.com for a 1996-1999 bmw m3 e36 would it still fit is there a difference between 95 e36 and 96-99 e36?

dude turbos are a big investment, i would try and learn about my car a little more before getting a turbo, just my 2 cents, if you have the money go for it but i would look into a supercharger

if you knew a lot about it then how would you not know about the difference between the two, im not trying to be mean but everyone plans on getting a turbo or a supercharger eventually.... chances are you wont off the bat, but i would seriously consider a supercharger its more reliable and you dont have any lag, also you wont really have to rebuild your entire engine, with a turbo at the end of it all your looking to pay about $15000 without labor for the turbo, with a rebuild and the turbo, its just a big pain in the ass

o yea i forgot the 96-99 has a 3.2 and before has a 3.0 thanks big sur

obd 1 and obd2 are different engines if you want to know the difference, and dont be a dick you asked for help im just giving you advice, 3.0L instead of 3.2, also different intake manifolds, etc., obd1 is favored for modifications just becasue owners usually get more horsepower out of certain mods (down pipe, track pipe etc), also a lot of odb2 people try and convert to obd1 intake manifolds to get a better flow, also obd2's have bigger headers then 1, so they kinda already come with well "headers"
