| I've also heard that OBDII engines aren't quite as reliable as the OBDI engines. I believe OBD stands for On Board Diagnostics but I'm probably wrong. Someone help me out here. Sorry if it is wrong.

| I had a completely shitty expearience with AA's customer service as well. I ordered my exhaust from them over the phone, and it never shipped. Upon questioning they claimed to have mis-calculated the number of available Gen 3 exhausts due to online orders screwing the qty. up! Bogus, and then they where rude and wouldnt help me solve the problem, so I went out and got a UUC system U and couldnt have been happier. AAT SUCKS- over priced, zero customer support unless you spend a fortune on their stuff. Better off going to www.horsepowerfreaks.com and having a A+ mechanic doing the instal.

| The main difference between obd1 ob2 is in the diagnostics of the engine/management. ob2 motors are a pain to get good HP out of them since they are more restricted through its management hence why people often swap for ob1.

| Dude, I had so much trouble finding the correct guys to do my Turbo, ended up paying Mert (a guy from Turkey) $3000 for a lot of crap that didnt work! Then Spent another $3000 from another tune company who didnt listen to what i wanted! Evntually I ended up at a place called SMART racing, they sorted my M3 and Now it pushes a reliable 800 HP on flywheel! If you give me specs ill tell you what we did. What motor you have, left or right hand drive etc.. Here is a list of things you have to remember before going to turbo. You cant just slap on a turbo, you need various things to make your car reliable. 1. Forged pistons 2. Forged Rods 3. Nightride crank 4. Valves 5. Exhaust 6. Branches (cast manifold just sucks, works on small engines but robs power on m3) 7. Cludge 8. Flywheel 9. Gearbox (is strong enough, but 6 speed works best) 10. Diff (change to 3.23 or 3.46 ratio) and re-inforse 11. Intercooler 12. Head and gsket 13. Magement systems (we run 3 systems all together) 14. Spark plugs 15. Proper dumpvalves and blow off valves 16. suspension 17. the list goes on.... My point, you think slapping on a turbo is just 1,2,3 its not you budget for 10K and end up paying 20K..
