| turbo e30 323i after i have fixed all the problems with my e30 i intend on adding fored induction. i was considering a single garret t28 as i still want good response. it would only run lowish boost (6-7 psi) and have a large front mount intercooler to hopefully stave off detonation. is this turbo suitable for this application? and will the engine be able to handle the increase in power? is this a dumb idea should i just supercharge it? any help will be much appreciated |

| Turboing an e30 is a great idea and very simple. Check out this site for a walkthrough of what is needed. http://bimmerjim.com also you should get a t3 turbo. it is the perfect size for the motor and they are really cheap and easy to get parts for.

| concerning Hp for $$$ would the turbo kit you guys are talking about be better value than a supercharger kit? I'm in the same predicament and would like to boost my E30 with no more than 10psi(for now ) and use it for sprint, autoX and hillclimbs(top speed doesnt matter... all acceleration:P)
