| Turbo Kit for a 328icA Turbo-kits.com??? I have a 328ic and it s a slushbox I know, but I was looking on the turbo-kits.com package and thought it might be a good investment. I wanted todo a 5-speed swap and all the bolt-on's (cams, ECIS intake, Jim C, etc), but thought of these??? My questions to you guys are: Should I go this route? Would the 6-8psi be too much for my stock driveline? I have heard you all talk about the A/F and timing issues some people run into when you install a turbo, would the equipment supplied be enough for my needs (not a dragracer, etc, etc.). If not what would you suggest? Thanks alot in advance!!!! Take care, zach.

| With the modifications that you're looking at, it's going to get quite expensive. If you're looking for the more HP route, in big numbers, I bet you'll find for the money that a supercharger is actually what you're looking for. You can run low psi and still see great numbers, w/ out any turbo lag what so ever. In my opinion, I don't think you should go the turbo route, after the kit,(possibly pistons?) cams-like you said, and changing out that transmission, you're going to be looking at some hefty costs. Just to throw you some numbers, here is a supercharger, and turbo kit from Active Autowerke, an elite BMW tuner. Click around on the site to find hp/tq increase. Although price may seem high, this company is no BS when it comes to performance. Visit dinancars.com as well for supercharger prices. supercharger: http://activeautowerke.com/supercharger/e36328/main.php Turbo : http://activeautowerke.com/turbo/obd2s2/main.php |

| That's why I thought I'd just go with the turbo. I could adjust the turbo for the small amount of boost I want (6-8 psi0 and not spend all that money on cams, tranny, etc. I really don't want any crazy amount of Horse Power and just thought the turbo would be ALOT cheaper an investment....????? Thanks, zach
