Don't know, there are more errors on there too. Saw some before.
They write S38 (early) for the 3.5 in E28 M5.
But it was still called M88.

Your S52 is called that because it is based on the M52.
But the euro M3 3.2 isn't.

Nope, that site is ok for the most part.
The codes are mostly ok. The hp figures should definetly be double checked.

This should work:

www.bmwworld.com

The Euro 3.2 engine never changed designation. It was the S50 B32 (B meaning Bore and 32 meaning 3.2). Anytime you see S52 it means a North American 3.2 M3.

I really don't like that manifold. The runners are not equal length (if that was the goal - if you're going to make each runner go into one collector it should be). I also don't like the positioning of the turbo. A better design would either be a 'log' design with good pressure, or two 3>1 collectors that are equal lenth. That would keep the discharge from each bank of cylinders equal. The big thing with that one is that as the rpms get higher the pulses get quicker; if you have uneven runners like that then the turbo gets uneven pressure and heat making the boost inconsistent.

So, ummm... I guess the intake for the turbo goes through the engine mount? Did you notice they left the front of the turbo loose to make it look like its goign to fit? Nice headers though.
I would assume they also sell custom engine mounts right?

Not true, actually.

Not true. We don't have the real S52 in the US. They just call it that.

B for bore? B stands for gasoline buddy.

I can give you that but it is BMW's designation of it.
There is no euro S52.

The real S52B32 is the "Euro" engine.
