| haha, I wish I were familiar with users, I'm new to DTMpower. Though it seems like I've already managed to take advantage of one of the complete vehicle classifieds haha. I am, however, experienced with Bimmers, just not with forced induction on E36s. |

| Wheres eddie farcon? www.azevedomotorsports.com Im sure the boys at Azevedo can address any questions about the setup you might have. I wouldnt hesitate to call a shop or manufacturer such as active autowerke. While they dont offer a gt35r in their packages they do do custom setups on OBD2 bmws

| Da-motorsports in a crock. he clams that it makes 1000 rwhp yet he refuses to show proof (aka dyno or timeslip) its been around for a long time. yet he never shows proof. do some research on other forums about this. bimmer forum has gone over this alot. |

| yeah, I definitely don't trust the Turks I wast thinking of building it myself, was just wondering if anyone else on the forum was using a GT35R and had any input. I hear a lot of great stuff about the Mitsubishi turbos though...

| as for has anyone used a gt35r application. yes. infact i was looking at that until i found a new project but people do it just fine. if i remember correctly you can get upto 550whp with the right tuning. but you would have to build ur motor |

| A GT35R is a very common turbo to put on an i6 BMW. It works very well. You could make 700 rwhp with the right size housing, but it would have a lot of lag. A common size is the 0.82 hot side. Theres a member on bimmerf.c that put down 635 rwhp on a m52 motor with just a thicker headgasket and arp studs. RIDICULOUS! Unfortunately the s50/s52 owners dont have as strogn an engine as the m52 so we would need a bit more as far as internals go. What else do you want to know? I wouldnt completely doubt damotorsports claims. If I recall they are usign a 1.xx A/R gt40r. That's huge. |
