Superchargers don't technically "spool"......just so you know...lol.

The pre 2001 plenum (aluminum cover) holds the boost just fine.
on the newer cars you need to replace cover (plastic cover) with the alu-one... (more expensive)

Do you your M5 and your 540? What year is your 540? Crazy to think that your 540 crushes your M5. I would love to hear/see your cars in action! Do you work on your cars yourself?

M5-00, 540-96 (but with some heavy upgrades)

I do work myself, but also hire people for work that needs machining, manufacturing etc.

Plan is to let 540is and M5 run against each other coming summer, problem is what car should I let my wife run - the faster or the slower ? :-)

the faster cuz then if she does win then you truly know its faster and cant blam it on bad driving and you can always try to switch it up
