Its a great kit, if your gonna be happy with 280whp. Very reliable. But for the price, there is better kits out.

Really what's better. They are on sale for 4800 right now. End of the year deal.

there is a company selling vortech based superchargers for around the same price and I believe they are also using AA software.

I forget their name at the moment but they advertise on bfc. I think it's vf?

not at that price but you can add an aftercooler to the kit. I believe the kit is more powerful and is certainly capable of much more power then the rotex kit that AA offers.

Do you know the name of the company? I'm looking at some e36 M3's and a supercharger to go along with it, any info would be nice. Thanks!

VF Engineering does NOT use AA software. The VF kits are GIAC tuned.

Eurobahn is the company that sells the Vortech based kits with an optional aftercooler. They really don't have software that I would trust, but both AA and NickG have a library full of tunes they could recopy for like $500 or so if setups are similar.

KO Performance sells upgrade kits to stock Vortech units, including the aftercooler, and larger pullies. Their setups use AA's tuning.

VF's setup looks nice, with GIAC tuning. However, its all running of 1 belt, so chances of increasing boost to 11-12psi like some of us have don't seem feasible.

I would go with Eurobahn, just because they where involved in making the brackets and other peices for RMS. You can add an aftercooler which works well in our cars. To get an intercooler setup on our Vortech setups isn't worth it, because its expensive, and you loose to much pressure in all the bends required.

In essence, drive an AA car, and then drive a Vortech car. If you like them both, but want future ability to get more HP from it with bolt ons (my figures are up there, and I still have not used cams, but am thinking about it...) then go Vortech.

Sorry for rambling... BF is still down

Single Belt setup. Not sure if they are capable of offering more boost or not...
