524td turbos?

Lately i've been seeing a lot of people using 524td turbos on their e30. I was wondering if anyone knew how hard/ much money it/ time/ would it take cost to achieve the transformation of a 524td turbo to a e30, or to a e34 for that matter. I know the turbo manifold is very similar to the e30 manifold, but how much space is there for it?

The 524 TD MANIFOLD is the only part that you might want. You can use the EGR valve placement to use an external wastegate. You have to port it and notch some thing out to use it. The manifold is a very compact design and is good for very low boost. around 7 lbs.

around 7lbs was all i'm looking for. Something to put on a daily driver and make it last.
