| Synthetics are better resistant to coking on the turbo bearings. Conventionals are better as suspending blow-by acids. If your car sits alot and gets oil changed every 2500 miles, conventional is better. If you drive alot and change your oil every 3K, syntheitic is better. No oil will be good for more then 3K miles on a turbocharged engine, period. My oil gets changed about every 1000 miles lately. I use Mobil 1, 10-30, some people with oil pressure problems switch to 20-50 to bring it up, but thats a bandaid fix for a larger problem.

| And BTW: You DO have a turbo timer, right? Proper turbo cool down is the most important thing you can do in a turbocharged car besides change the oil often.
