Hey, I just checked again and Aem does make a ems for bmw 3series obd1 and obd2 and for a couple of other models if you look its there. I just searched bmw e36 ems and it was there. But for a bmw the ems is not cheap at all ! a little over $3200 but claims to be very good.

Best ecu you can buy is Motec imop... best "cost efficient" i would go with Haltech. E11 ecu is pro version from Haltech and is half price than AEM Motec etc.

No problem I wont have it up and running for about 6 months. I think I am getting rid of my aerocharger and getting a different turbo.

Most sensible thing I've read in ages. Heaps of people are on the MS bandwagon. It's a pile of shit, for a little more money you can get a fully programmable ECU.

You could use Motec as people have mentioned, or Haltech. Also Microtech is a good one to look at as well.

HALTECH E8 allll the way.... best cost efficient. I feel that it is the best cost efficeint and simple. just get a 3 bar map sensor... TPS Etc. and you got urself a great engine managment. go to their website and check it out. other than that i like Autronic but its soo expensive.

I have the E6x and has internal 2.5bar sensor, what about E8?
And i have a 3 bar map sensor from a 250TD E Klasse Mercedes Nippon Denso, i bet is cheaper than what they sell.

do you think that you could get away with the stock ecu if you were going to push 7psi max on a 1993 325is with 37lb fuel injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?
