E30 Anyone out there running a turbo on their 325e? I was told by TCD that my 2.7 was unsuitable for a turbo and that I should swap in a 2.5 instead.

How much are you looking to spend? If I were you I'd jus run a 524td manifold, turbo and exhaust and jus go from there. Im a student so im going to look for the least amount possible to spend on a turbo charger and parts. Some of the turbos had an offset housing and it sits on the manifold, if this is the case go and pick up a T3 off a saab, it has quick spool of around 6psi. If you go higher then 10psi you're looking for trouble if you dont have a rebuilt engine with low compression pistons etc. Btw if youre wanting 350rwhp its going to kill you with the money issue, and you will need bigger injectors too, maybe 34lbs/hr injectors for 350rwhp. For 350 rwhp you'll prolly be wanting to run a Garrett T04E turbo imo.

money is not a big deal and the motor would be get fully done whit pistons and was looking for about 10 to 15 punds of boost hit 350 whp or so and was looking at a profin tubular manifold
