AA/Stimpee E36 TS is Announced

AA and Stimpee (Steve Andersen) have joined forces to release the Twin Screw for our BMW's.

Check out the M3 vs M5 plot. Just like it was said in the past, the TS makes the car feel like it has a V8 under the hood. 330+ rwhp and 310+ RWTQ on a 87+ degree Florida day and on a mustang dyno, can you say 360+ rwhp on a dynojet.

Bill P

PS Ohh, I forgot to mention for you HP junkies out there, Stage 2 will feature a larger 2.3L TS that will make lot and lots of power. Ask me how I know?

I noticed it said 96-99 M3's. Will they be working on a TS for 95's soon? Thanks in advance for your response.

Yes, it is highly likely. The kit is a direct bolt in for all E36 from 1993. Only difference is some minor components changes (pulley, injectors, etc) and software. The kit was originally developed and tested on my 1993 325is.

I was looking at an motor swap before I went to Forced Induction on my 328IS.(have been looking at a M3 motor from a 98) If this unit can pull the numbers your getting on your 325IS, 262rwhp, 13.86 in the 1/4. Would be enuff to hold my own aginst most cars.

When I got done with it, right before I sold it, I am quite confident that my 325is was a low 13 sec capable car, at 104-105 mph or better. However my clutch was going, and didn't get it back the track before I sold it.

I hope to get my M3 into the 11's in the not too distant future, on the "stock" twin screw kit, with some help from some good tires and excellent driving. The car will hit 100mph in the mid/upper 9 second range, so it should be do-able.

The basic kit will fit pretty much all M50, S50, S52 engines. That means 323, 325, 328, 525 and M3. Pretty nice. Software will be different and maybe some of the H2O lines would differ for the 5-series, but the kit will fit.

Steve, correct me if I am wrong here.

True dat. Basic hardware is "universal" to the whole engine family, and will even fit the E46 engines with only minor changes to the manifold.

I will let Karl/AA cover any questions about pricing, availability, etc right now!
