Supercharger or Turbo

Hey guys for an M3 2005 i want to reach to 600 or maybe 700 horsepower so what do u think would be the best offer for me Supercharger or Turbocharger and for my car what would be the best plz give your advices and if there are any other things plz share ur knowlege

I would always suggest turbo over supercharger, but def. go w/ turbo if you want 600-700 horse. You'll probably want to run twins, and you'll need to run like 13 psi to reach 600.

oh and also be prepared to drop the HELL out of the compression if you want to run 13+ on that engine

Do you know what your talking about? Or are you just talking from what other people told you?

are you saying that its easier to get 600 horse with supercharger than it is w/ a turbo? Yes I know what I'm talking about. The only benifit of a supercharger is the power curve; if you know enough about turbos, you can create whatever kind of power curve you want, plus much more power b/c you don't have any belts running off the engine

Why would you want a M3 with 600-700 horsepower... The FIA cars don't even have that much... are you building a drag car...?

493 RWHP has been done on that motor with a Vortec supercharger kit from RMS and a built motor and tuning by ICS, so that will get you to your 600 crank hp mark.
Rumor has it there are some turbo kits in the works for the S54 also.

you will need to run less boost (which means less engine prep / high CR) w/ a turbo in order to get any amount of hp than you would with a supercharger

get a tech4 turbocharger from ICS tuning but dont stop there, u need low pressure pistons and bigger throttle body, new exhaust headers, new fuel injectors, and boost controller, etc.

I agree that you will have to drop the CR to get that much power. Your motor can't handle big boost because the CR is so high.
