There needs to be a happy medium with all of these issues. I am assuming Jimmy had a good experience with RMS. Great. It is quite obvious that MentalM3 is not a happy customer. Hell I am not a happy Cingular customer, and there are some people that love the damn company. We all have different experiences. In this case, there are documented cases (here and elsewhere) that RMS has done some shady stuff in the past up to and including present day. If that does not turn you away from the company, then nothing will. Take your money where you wish but do not come back crying. All that I will say to you is we told you so. If you can count on more than 1 hand of people that are happy with Major upgrades from RMS, then post them up. Names (forum names) and experiences. I am sure that there are many who are/were disappointed. In the same breath, the adage rings true here as everywhere. A good job makes 1 happy customer. A bad job will make 20 unhappy could-have-been customers. So tell your good experiences and let them outweigh the bad. That is sales 101. You cannot tell someone how bad the other product is and expect to sell yours. And my eyes are blue. ![]()

As for everyone that says RMS has good hardware. How could it be bad, all it is is bracket and an off the shelf Vortech. It is a copy of the Dinan unit, sure it is good, as is Dinan, Ess, ERT and everyone esle. Now getting that off the shelf Vortech to work in harmony with the car, well lets say RMS rayally sucks at that. There have been more then one blown engine caused by HORRIBLE RMS tuning. Can't recall to many bad software stories from Dinan or ERT (ESS had some issues back in the day, not sure now). As for the aftercooler, call spearco and they will sell all the parts to make one yourself. BP |

It would suck if you had an RMS supercharger and something broke on it. I wouldn't blame someone for going back to RMS and getting a replacement part. I mean...what else are you supposed to do? Going there now as a new customer though...thats not supporting the many people that have been ripped off in the past. This bad business practice really needs to stop. That's all.
