| ESS Supercharger question and my mods So far here are my mods; I have a 2001 330xi and I have put in dinan cold air intake, dinan throttle larger throttle body, dinan stage 3 engine management software, dinan exhaust, dinan sport springs, koni adjustable shocks, dinan upper strut tie bar, dinan rear shock tower tie bar, dinan front camber plates, 23mm sway bars, custom short shift kit by dan kerman (aerospace engineer who made this for me from scratch, very smooth), hamman hm2's 19x8.5 (soon upgrading to HRE's) and TMS underdrive pully system and m-technic body kit (being painted and put on within the month). I am now ready for more power and don't think that I can wait for dinan to make a supercharger for the e46 non m-3, so I think that I am going to go with ESS, however I want the 8psi kit and the site says that it is not compatable with the 330xi, it seems like a waste of money for me to go with the 7psi kit for only a thousand bucks less and lose so much power! ESS has not got back to me on if the 7psi kit works with the 330xi (does not have the disclamer like the 8psi kit) so do you think that I could put in the 8psi system? The goal is to make the fastest all wheel drive BMW out there, any suggestions? Does anyone know why the 7psi would work and not the 8psi? is is because of the drive train, if that is the only reason, I am willing to take my chances, or is it due to space in the vehicle, help me out, I am in new hampshire and summer is comming up fast and I want to blow those audi's and WRX STI's out of the water. I have checked all the searches and cant find an answer. |
