| With regards to suspension mods with FI has anyone found it neccessary to add various reinforcment plates like the ones offered by Turner to reinforce the front or rear subframe/ swaybars/ camber arms? With NA people occasionally having issues with the subframe tearing out of the chassis I wondered if this has been an issue with the FI cars as well particularly if these are pushed hard on tracks. If any of the FI guys would like to elaborate on which companies they suggest for various internals like valves, valve springs, pistons, rods, heads, etc. I would appreciate it. I know VAC, JE, Pauter, and Turner carry alot of these, just curious if more options are out there. Thanks! |

drop the diff. remove the subframe, press the bushing out, replace the bushing with new ones. weld your supports with the bushings out (so they dont melt). Reinstall, can be done in a day, for less $100 |

| I have not done any welding nor do I know anyone who has the equipment so I'd probably get a shop to do it. Your suggestions seem like a good way to do it. Turner suggested remving the rear interios, fuel tank and quite a bit of other stuff to reduce the risk of fires. Seemed like safety overkill but better safe than sorry. |

| If you completely remove the subfram, you dont ahve to worry about fire. You can easily take the parts to a welder and have them weld it for you. probably cost you 30 bucks. Make your own, turners is just a piece of 1/8th inch steel. go by your own. or pm me for some helpful shops. Shipping would kill you because the subframe is heavy |

| In most the pics I saw ythe reinforcment plates were welded to the body not the subframe. Wouldnt this make sense since the body is where the tear develops and therefore needs to be reinforced? |

| Dado's car ran 11.8@121 on the low boost setting (11psi, 390HP) Here is the link with the video from the run. First pass down the drag strip
