Quiicksilver, why are you choosing the gt30r. Check out the compressor map for the GT30R. I believe you are better off with t3/t4 60-1 or T61. Plus you can save a few hundreds on the turbo that can be use on other items.

summitracing sells the turbonetics manifold. I was the first to call them on it and get the price in their system. $691 plus shipping and it doesn't come with an external waste gate port, so you would have to pay to get it welded on if you are going external poppet style. Honestly, the turbonetics isn't really much different from Audspeeds or AA's.

If you are interested in running a T4 tho, the Audspeed manifold i beleive only comes with a T3 flange. Cartech offers one with both, but not sure of thw quality. I'm interested in the audspeed kit, but the piping is a bit of a turn off, as i believe its crush bent, but correct me if i am wrong.

it has the tuffy muffler man bend, not very good and quite the turn off, but piping is always upgradeable as I did. Pics of the kit. This isn't my car, but it is the same kit. My piping and BOV are different. I will get pics of my car up shortly, I've just been busy and lazy at the same time.

So I got bored, and anxious on tuesday while it was raining all night and cranked up the boost on my car pretty high. You guessed it, I blew something up pretty good. Car now smokes pretty bad when I drive it, smokes more the harder I accelerate, so I'm assuming its related to the bottom end. Possibly blown piston rings or melted piston. I'm not seeing coolant or oil in either so I don't think the head gasket blew. We'll see.

Since the mirrors are tinted blue, I'm having trouble seeing exactly what color it is, although I had some friends watch me pull away from the house and they said it was blueish white. I was a bit confused since I run Fully Synthetic motor oil which usually doesn't smoke like normal oil. I am also getting oil on my belts from somewhere. I was planning on getting the car to my garage this week and tearing it down.

I don't think my distribution is spraying oil, but I might be wrong. I made sure it had some good teflon seal on it before I put it together. I think it might be a front main seal possibly. I just need to get it apart and figure it out. And btw, My MAF can't handle the amount of air being forced through it. My check engine light keeps coming on above 4,500RPM.

Is there any possibility if your waterpump goes that water might somehow get into the combustion chamber and burn?? I just went out to my car and started it and coolant came pouring out from the water pump! So that is what is flying on my belts. Whats the possibility of burning coolant?

Here are some good info to remember when you see significant smoke coming out of your tailpipe with a turbo set up.

WHITE Smoke usually indicates blown headgaskets with coolant leaking and oil mixing together. Check your Oil cap to see if there a chocolate -like fluid residues. If it checks out fine then pressure test your coolant system.

BLUE Smoke usually means that either your Turbo seals are blown and oil is leaking pass the seals and into the turbo exhaust housing. It can also leak into the compressor housing which will get pushed back int the intake track. Check your piping for some oil residues. This would need a turbo rebuild, but for a BB type, then you need a whole new turbo.

Another reason for the BLUE smoke could be a worn or blown piston rings. If you are experiencing a lot of Oil Blow-by, you will notice a significant increase in oil consumption. Check your Spark Plugs to see if the tips are coated with oil. This would require a full motor rebuild. Get a compresion test and a leak down test.

BLACK Smoke usually are caused by an overl rich AFR. Easiest to remedy but is just as important to address right away. Check your exhaust tip to see how black it is. The darker, more charcoal like build up, that usuallly would indicate a rich mixture.

I have a 60-1 turbo + Injectors I am selling just in case.
