E28 545i

Hey, I am looking at building myself a 545i (535i + M30 3.5L + 745i turbo gear) And I was looking for anyone who has seen/done it before so I could pick their brain over a few thingies.

Eg:

*intercooler ...where do it go? ...have one at all?
*Is it easier to shoehorn the whole 745i engine into the 5 rather than taking off bits and moving this and making this bit etc
*are 745i's real hard to find?

..and so on..

do a custom set up based off of the 745 manifold, and use a stand along engine management, after tuning, it will be HELLA faster, you can use a holset HX-35 to it uses a T4 exhaust flange and would be more than efficent enough for a M30 and you can get them for next to nothing. they even spool at like 35-3800 not THAT high i guess....
