Peoples opinion on Downing Atlanta S/C

Hey, i would liketo get peoples opinion on the Downing Atlanta S/C do you think it is worth the $3,300? it will take the stock 318is from 140HP to 215HP ... Let us know what u think, and if you have heard anything about these kits? thanks Damo

a friend of mine had it in his 328 and was greatly dissapointed with it. He said after he was done with the install and the fine tweaking he ran with 328's but with a few more tweaks he ran with m3's but he had alot of things go wrong with the car.

I've drive quite a few Z3 1.9s with the DASC kit...

It's a fine kit.. you just have to keep in mind that it won't make your car into a monster. It will give you the about the same rwhp as a 2.8l motor. If you can live with that the kit is very reliable.

The DASC kit doesn't come with software.. but NickG has some software written that will both work with the AFPR (stage I) and without (Stage II) that I remember had some decent reviews..

DASC sent me a kit in Greece a year ago. I am very happy with the kit so far, which is very reliable (I have 113k in total- 28k done with the kit).
I drive to work everyday, and I do many miles on the European Highways travelling at high speeds. It's amazing that I have almost the same fuel consumption as stock, with more power and torque at lower revs!!!
