| Its a risk, your forcing more air into that engine more fuel ect. You basicly pushing the motor harder no one can tell you if it will fail or not its just a risk that you have to take if your not going to to any internal engine work. But it is very rare for a e36 m50 engine to fail do to a machnical problem when naturaly asperated.

| i say do a rebuild if you feel its necessary, i know some people on the forums runing high boost on high mileage and it works great except for the frequent break downs, which get to be rather expensive, but if its as strong as you say than it should do it well, remember these engines dont like FI so they require special treatment.
