| If you do all of the common steps that are suggested for this mod, then yes it can be done with out problems. The engine fan is only needed to pull air through the radiator below 10 mph, once your moving air is being forced through anyway. It may only become a problem while sitting in traffic on a very hot day (90+), which we rarely get in MD. This is a problem that even non FI cars with this mod have, and since you are rarly above idle at that speed, your car wouldn't be producing boost, so It would act just like a non-FI car. If for some reason you notice a problem you can always put the fan back on if you keep it around. I hope this helps you.
