WTF - RMS pros dropping like flys...why?

How do you guys keep doing this? What is it with Marco and Jimmyz2 that you guys have to keep banning them. Give me a good answer that actually makes sense and I will end the questioning. But it seems like everytime I come to this forum to get information: The one guy that is very intelligent with RMS mechanics ( Marco) and another one who is quite good (as well as speaks the truth about Marco/RMS) Jimmyz2 have both been Banned. Mods it's really getting rediculous.

First of all, if you have a problem, you should PM the staff or at least post this in the Questions/Feedback forum.

While it is unfortunate they are not able to post anymore, what happened with Marco & Jimmy did not have to do politics or favortism. They violated forum rules. RMS had nothing to do with it and it had nothing to do with RMS. Unless you have access to the Moderator forum(which you do not) then you don't know the full story. The reason it was a recurring problem was because they were given second and third chances.

DTMpower was very lenient in what went on in this forum but privilges were abused. As a staff, we stand behind each other's decisions and reserve the right to uphold what everyone agreed to when registering on the site.

Could you shed some light on what they did in a more specific manner?

As far as I am concerned, talking with Marco and analyzing other things that were going on, it seamed favoritism was becoming a problem, or that it was the culprit of some decisions.

If the reasons weren't favoritism or unjust banning, than there should be no problem with explaining to us what they did, so WE don't do it also! This whole "they broke rules" thing is way to vague, and doesn't explain much.

I'm not trying to get into the middle of this, but I do have to agree that this situation does not make any sense. I have talked with Marco plenty of times to get some information and insight on my future SC setup, and he has been nothing but helpful. I realize that I am not completely informed of his actions, however, I have read many of the arguments between him and a few others, including the mods. They all seem to have provoked a conflict with him and then acted as if they were not at all to blame. I agree that he did not handle these attacks as well as he could have, but these instances were clearly not all his fault. I get the feeling that there was definitely some past history involved, and also some abuse of power. It is sad that the DTM community has lost these knowledgeable members, and I think I speak for all of us seeking information about supercharging that we would like to welcome them back. I may be wrong, but if other people can keep there previously held opinions and stubborn views of these individuals to themselves we might just see the truly positive influence they have on this forum. I would also like to hear an explanation of the reason for them being banned. If this actually has nothing to do with RMS, then why have the mods effectively removed most of the active RMS supporters among us.

A good example of this is the mods deleting his reply to one of George of ICS's post's..

George was talking about (as a rebutall) how he offers group buys at $X,XXX amount of dollars for Turbo kits.

Marco replied "Supporting vendor??"

They deleted that post, why I don't know. All he was doing was pointing out how ones person is getting away with something that he was banned for. Or so he says, and putting two and two together, they made sense.

It's hard to believe either one. Marco + analyzation makes sense, but so does the Moderators justifications (at times).

If you really want to clear this up, TELL US what the hell happened. If not, we'll all just be stuck in the shadows with curiousity, and possible assumptions, which may be wrong for all we know.

At least I'm not the only one that felt this way. It seems like there are other members on this forum who would also like a reason why the bannings occurred. Most of the time Marco was just standing up for himself, RMS, and the whole supercharging community when turbo assholes got onto these boards and praised turbo kits while belittling supercharger setups. If anyone had a supercharger setup...Marco was the go to guy. It seems like he was more helpful then anybody when it comes to anything. I've talked with George at ICS a couple times and don't get me wrong he is very helpful also, a real nice guy. But I don't understand how the mods could ban someone just as helpful as Marco. It would be a better forum if we had 2 genius s/c and turbo members instead of one. Don't just be biased because you favor one and had your car tuned there ( )...

This is an obvious hidden agenda here. This was just one mods trying over and over again to get rid of Marco and has finally won. Thats too bad. But then again the FI forum isn't about knowledge anymore its about pushing shops. Because certain people don't have any power at BF.com then they must flex it here.
