'bout time? I don't know about all that . . .

I mean no matter where you go or what kit you get 720 at the wheels is going to cost you. There's really no corner to cut there. It's not like 400+rwhp out of their stage 2 kits is slow.

I'm not here to defend or promote their turbokits (unless they sponsored me *big wink*), but they're nothing to shine on. I've heard good and bad about the reliability of their kits mainly due to programming, but it's a complete kit. If you really wanted to save some $ build a kit and do the labor yourself, that's the only way that's going to happen. Not trying to argue, just saying . . .

It will say, "After barreling down the road like a bullet through a gun, this dirt bag has the nerve to pull over and smoke a cigarette. But before he can hop back in his speed maching to grab his uzi so he can start popping caps, an officer pulls up to give him with a fist full of justice. This is the last joy ride this speed freak will be taking for a while after they give him a list of charges that reads like a shopping list."

Current project:

1995 //M3 - 2 door, 5 speed - Cosmos Black
- Rogue engineering shock tower mounts
- UUC street / track transmission mounts
- JT-Designs aluminum underbody paneling
- Active Autowerke 3" intake
- Active Autowerke differential support bracket

Stockish for now, and love it

I believe their full kit is somewhere around 21,000. Nevermind many other parts.

I have mixed feelings about AA, but the negative feelings take over more each day.

they claim that thing has 721 hp at the crank but the dyno graph only shows something like 530 rwhp which would not equate to anything near 721 hp. i think they are very optomisitc with their numbers.

Actually they show graphs for 610 standard rwhp and 591 SAE rwhp.
The numbers however, are a bit low for that sized turbo and boost level.

Ok, well I don't see why anyone would care. At the same time though, I'll just keep my thoughts to myself

It seems as if people arent much of DYI as me around here, thats what I was saying, for the 9k you pay for the AA kit you could run a 18g from a starter kit
like www.turbo-kits.com they have a 2500 kit, it has a piggy back system, now ive heard people saying "the managment sucks" well simply get a data logger or a safc, its the same as the AA, run a set of tubular headders, and an 18g, with lets say some 680's you will get the same results for half the price, and it just goes to show that going for names isnt always the best thing. Just because "brand X" sells this kit propelled by a t-25 is 2500 and AA sells a kit propelled by a 20g, it isnt like its permanent, it can always be upgraded from there.
