| Tuning with potentiometer and rrfpr I'm hoping someone might have some insight on how to do this properly.
I have a ASA SKI SC, which uses a potentiometer to limit MAF voltage to the ECU, and a RRFPR. Software + Larger Injectors is still in development, so i'm hoping to get this working right in the mean time.
I''m having problems getting my AFR to ~12.1 @ WOT as I approach redline. When the potentiometer was at 9 turns (out of 10, goes from lean to rich) I was getting around 13.5 AFR @ 5k+ rpms. I never checked my LTFT at this setting but i'm betting it was a negative value. Now I have my potentiometer at 3 turns (lean) and my LTFT is around +12% and I get about 13.0 AFR @ 5k+ rpms.
Now my question is, when doing this method of tuning AFR, do I want my LTFT the highest positve value possible (25% i think), or do I want it to be around 0%? It seems the higher the LTFR value I get the close I get to a 12.1 AFR when in open loop.
Thanks! |
