 Overclock a centrifugal supercharger?
Hmm let me explain my thougt, since its actually quite seldom (at least for me)
I max-revv my engine (the only place where my vortech delivers max boost
(the engine allows) at 6850 rpm, would'nt it be better to set it up to deliver max boost at lets say 5500 rpms - and let a wastegate secure the engine from
overboost at 5500-6850 rpms ? (freeze max boost at a level I decide) I know the SC in that particular area would "work for nothing" - but wouldnt the downside
be smaller than the improved 1000-5550 range witch is (for me) where 95% of my driving is...?
with the exeption of some higher milage - wouldnt the engine "feel" and perform
"better" (more HP and Torque in the 1000-5500 range) in that range.
