| RMS has an aftercooler, water to air unit. VERY EFFECTIVE!!!!!. I have installed many, it works perfectly on your Dinan setup. Contact me for pricing as I sell them for RMS. My name is Marco and I can answer any question you may have about a potential FI upgrade to your car. ![]() And an oil cooler from VPD is an EXCELLENT idea. I bought mine from Roman @ MAX VELOCITY, he is a great guy and the oil cooler kit is a snap to install, and it works great, like 30 degree reduction in oil temp when moving. | The RMS aftercooler is an excellent piece of hardware, and it has been proven to greatly lower your IATs... And getting your hardware via Marco is, IMHO, the only way to go... -Dave

| 333m3nut, i have a dinan sc. bumped the boost from 8 to 11 supported by water injection, and picked up from about 280 whp to 320 whp. Added the aftercooler and nothing else and added another 20 whp.. But the real telling is in the part throttle response. See, driving around IATs without the aftercooler were ambient PLUS 100 degrees!! With the aftercooler, its ambient plus about 35! And that translates into throttle response you could only dream about before the aftercooler. Heat soak was a constant companion without the aftercooler, even at the out of the box 8 psi. But now? forgetabout it. If there were a great air to air unit that would fit our setups, ID be interested.. But the simple fact is, there isnt. No space, pipes would be crimped and small, and boost loss would be significant. The rms aftercooler is the only proven charge air cooler for these cars. Water injection helps, but its best used as an adjunct to the aftercooler, and not a substitute. Marco will hook you up with a good deal, and answer any tech questions you have about it. HEs probably seen the insides of more of them than any one at rms in cal!

| Hey Pauli e thanx for the info..i will definatly give the aftercooler a try..we sent marco an email and will order one asap.im gonna dyno the car before and after.Also want a 6 speed manual trans for my ride..i know active makes one? and evo?Any recomendations/feedback??? |
