| Full boost at what rpm? I am deciding on which turbo to buy, I really haven't narrowed it down, and to be honest I haven't researched much about the turbo specifically. I am worried that the T4 size turbo will be too laggy. I was thinking of a t3 60-1??? here what i want out of it: To be used for Drag strip racing mostly. Hoping fot full boost around 3500 rpm preferably alittle lower. Not to run out of steam at the top of the rpm band. Hoping for 350whp about 9psi. Hoping for 450+whp by 15-16psi Am i crazy, what do you recommend? don't Say Supercharger... |

Once again, your goals are very realistic, looks like you did some homework. Boris

| Boris, what size housing do you have on the T4 side? I have a T04S housing which has the 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet to the intercooler. Are you running a different motor mount to clear the turbo? Thanks, Joe

What rpm does your turbo setup loose its boost? I Don't think i will be running any cats, probably won't even run an exhuast unless i have to. I don't really care about making huge horsepower numbers really, thast why i am leaning towards the t3 manifold/turbo. I guess we'll see what happens. Twinscrew is pretty tempting due to the no lag factor, but i already have several of the turbo parts i'd hate to have to go and sell them and loose money. |

| M3 Kid: it's a 60-1 HiFi (T04B housing). There is no engine mount in the kit ![]() bigmansm: Thanks, glad you enjoyed the vids The boost never dies... it stays constant in all RPM's... the power is what dies... when I say dies I don't mean completely... it could just have more power with a bigger turbine, that's all. If you check the BF forum you can look for Drifto's dyno sheets, he has similar hardware/tuning to my car and you can see the difference the cats make... they make an even bigger difference in feel and turbo spool which you can't see on dynosheets. T3 Turbine may not be optimal in all cases, but it's been proven to make some large numbers and certainly easily capable of what you're looking for...Good luck and have fun with your project ![]() Boris

I contact your bud nick about software, he never got back to me with pricing for retunning, I wanted to know if he charged for small updates like, leaning the a/f out and bumping the boost, let him know if you tlak to him anytime soon. |

| I'm using the K27 used on the 745i's. I get 1psi around 2000rpm (in high gears) and full boost around 3000-3200rpm. In first gear I top out with about 4 or 5 psi (7psi limit) which is really good!
